Any one been to sandbox arena this fall?

I went on black friday. It was ok. Tight layout short laps. It was my first time going. I think its too much$$$$ for the ride time that you get.

I was really starting to get the riding itch pretty fierce, and a trip to the 'box was in order. However, with the Shags doing his thing pretty soon, I'm starting to switch to "ice-psyched"...

Get ice tires we dont charge anything to ride on our tracks. I put in 100+ hours of riding every winter. When stuff melts I take a trip to the dunes. I personaly think ice is safer then riding in summer.

I think I saw a $150 winter membership for the sandbox, so it might be worth it if you go 5+ times. If I was closer I'd consider it...

I've never done bike ice racing (just once on a studless quad with a friend) because my dad hates the cold, and so do I. Are there any places you ride that are less than an hour away from anoka?

I'm not sure what the riding scene will be for this weekend; might play hockey instead. I'm not sure, we'll see how things play oot (my northern accent).
