Sounds like the pilot may be clogged to me.... where do you have the air screw set?

Sucks going back and forth between carb and Fi... Forgot there was the screw with the nut on it, idles now. I have a 420 main and stock needle second clip right now an stock pilot. That's wha worked best last year does that sound good or nah?

Yea that should be really really close. Id say your def safe from any melt downs... Im thinking you should be more towards the 3rd clip pos. with A/S about 2 turns out. 2nd clip may be pretty rich. stock is 4th clip pos.

Sounds really good... Id ride it as is. If you get a bog or hesitation after 1/3 throttle you'll know that you need to drop the needle one clip.

2.5 turns out on the air screw means you need to drop the pilot one size. You should be over 1 turn out and under 2.5, meaning 2.5 and above you need to drop the pilot one size. Under 1 turn out you need to raise the pilot one size.

No prob man... Ive done my fair share of jetting work on these Yz's. They are very finicky but pretty simple once you get the hang of it. If you need any help let me know.

Whats wrong with the 125? I feel like a noob mechanic again, cant get the 450 to start after a rebuild and now the 250 has issues after a rebuild. Wondering whats gonna be next.

It's got a nasty bog a soon as you give it gas (only when riding). It runs good mid/top but there is zero bottom end (I know it's a 125 and isn't supposed to have much bottom end). Like i literally have to give it half throttle and constantly feather the clutch just to get it going. I've gone down a few sizes in jets and tried a few diff clip positions but still not much better. My powervalves need to be replaced cause they keep falling apart and disconnecting. But my 450 runs good  .

Your PV probably isnt closing all the way, thats what it sounds like to me. I had the same issue when I rebuilt my 00' 125. Replaced the springs and it ran fine after that.
