Haha... lucky dog! I paid a somewhat rediculous amount for my parts washer, that I got from a local shop that close down.

I couldnt even tell you what kind it is... its pretty beat and well used! It works really well even though I hardly ever use it

Its about 30" and has a solvent tank that you hook up to a water source and injects some clear solvent that I got with it into the tank out of a small canister that you fill on the side. Not sure what goes on after that because it wont run without the lid closed.

i have a harbor freight version 20 gal parts washer. my cousin bought one just like it on sale for like $80 one time.  and i was talkin to a guy about buying me one before the sale ended, and he said he had one he would give me.  said he bought it at a garage sale and never used it.  i picked it up that evening and it works like a champ lol.  i just use diesel in mine, and its mostly offroad diesel i got from a buddy for free lol.

Merry christmas everyone!

I had the standard length on my 04 YZ250, and it made a much bigger difference than I thought it would. It made the bike much snappier, and seemed to push the power up in the rev range some. This is conjunction with a pipe spacer (Do a search, and then order one from Zip-Ty) made the bike awesome on motocross tracks.

(But it still couldn't hold a candle to my stock as a rock powered 06 KX250 BTW :bonk:)

The shorty will move the power down a little and boost bottom end but it doesnt kill top end which I prefer, since the current Yz pulls forever. Not to mention the Pro Circuit pipe is known for its top end. The shorty should be a perfect match! Id go with the shorty.

Good choice... I think you'll be happy with the combo on the track.

As for your thumb, take care of it man. Being a paramedic Ive seen some nasty infections from simple stuff like that when they arent taken care of and kept clean!!!

Ha good luck with that... last time that happened to me at work he used rubbing alcohol to clean it... at least thats what it felt like. Then he scrubbed it with a cottom swab. Id just use some sterile water (you should be able to find it at any pharmacy) to clean it the first time, and plenty of it, just dump it over it to flush it out and keep some neosporin and a band aid on it to keep germs out after that until it heals up.
