426/450 subframe swap?

well, i went down pretty hard sunday and tweeked up the subframe. I thought i had read that the 04 450 aluminum subframe was a direct swap, is this true?

The sub can be bolted on, as far as I know, but then none of your 426 plastics or seat will fit.

the 01-02 yz250f subframe is a direct fit. I may have one. I'll look for you 2morrow and IM you

Ok thanks guys. Was the 02 426 subframe aluminum or steel?

All of the 426/250F subs were aluminum. Earlier ones were painted. As stated, the '01-'02 YZ250F is also a direct fit.

I was! It knocked me out for a short amount of time. But luckily, no broken bones just some sore muscles!
