Was planning on getting a white 11 but ended up with a white 12. There are slight changes for 12 but nothing interesting. Bike is quieter than the 11 and the fork is soft. (needs springs) The muffler looks frickin huge. Any problems with the 12 should be the same as the 11's?
Bike feels good so far, HUGE difference in the feeling of the chassis from my 08.

Would have gotten the white 11 except there were none left here in B.C. Go figure. The dealer discounted a 12 enough that at resale it would (hopefully) work out the same. I really dont think it matters whether a guy gets a 10,11 or 12? At least not mechanically. I bought a leftover the last time (my 08) and lost the initial savings when I went to sell it. This time I just said," Screw it, get me a 12." Its a toy after all, not an investment.
The price I paid for mine probably wouldnt be very comparable to the prices you guys pay down there. It ended up being over 9 OTD. We get the tuners for free with the bike too.
But, buddy, the bike looks awsome. My buddy's got a 11 in white and the 12 looks better stock. Just wish they came with red hubs! They'd look deadly.

I kinda like the silver rims though. Had black last 2 bikes and think my 09 looked the best of all with silver, either way both machines are sweet. I live in Charlotte, NC and the prices here are about $8000-$8500 for a new 12 otd. Will probably go blue 11.

The fork on the -12 has the same springs as -11....but with a different valving. For the normal weight guy, I don´t think you need a stiffer springs.

And I believe they are also close (if not the same springs) on '10 forks, which work well for us "lighter" guys (I'm 160#s)

That said, seems like either the front springs or rear spring needs to be changed, depending on rider weight.

I changed rear spring to lighter rate, kept stock fork springs, now it's well-balanced for me.

Many slightly heavier riders do the opposite, then it's well-balanced for them!

It seems that the difference is the ignition and the tires are the only difference. Specs say that the 12 is longer and wider. All else is the same. I would think that the ignition is better, but don't know. I posted question on this.

I rode the -12 stock and all I can say is that it feels much more aggressive and stronger than stock -11 !

Can't wait to ride it with a different pipe and some other nice stuff
