I machined those to press fit over the sleave that rides on the bearing, the keep the bearing/seal from working it's way out of the swingarm.

A great build, and a great source of info, its nice to see it done, rather than speculated on. I have three questions, though. The 125 Cylinder had to be re-sleeved, is that right? Also, where do you get stroker pins from?  Over here in the U.K., I cant find any info at all. Lastly, what was involved in splitting the big end bearing?
Thanks.

yes, the cylinder was resleeved. The stroker pin was purchased thru akunar. I went thru all the available pins and purchased based on dimensions not application.

I couldn't find a split bearing in the correct size so I got the idea to make my own from Terry at FirePower Minis. I purchaedtwo stock bearings then cut them in two. I then used a verticle oscilating drum sander with a table to bring them to the correct size. Patience was the deal with that. Pretty easy process just have to take your time.

if I don't find a buyer for this soon I may part it out.

I'm looking into using a Hyosung 4v Head, and GSX-R 600 piston (67mm), with the 7mm crank pin (the crank pin I was not aware of, 'til I read this) to give 221cc. However, I didn't see the appropriate size pin on Akunar - the 7mm pins all seem to be too big. Can you point me in the right direction? Also, can anyone advise on the outer diameter of the cylinder liner at its slimmest, at the bottom of the barrel?
Many thanks.

Good luck with akunar, I tried to do this same build, but they sent me this message-

We have an issue with your order that was unforeseen. Our system says the 7mm pins are in stock however it appears all we have is 2.5mm and 3mm sizes left in stock. SO sadly due to the fact that this size is no longer going to be remade I am going to have to either refund you for the pin cost, refund ½ a pin cost and supply a 2.5 or 3mm or refund the lot.
I’m dearly sorry but please let me know your thoughts on what works best for you.

So this is what I ended up buying

1 x AKPRP016C Piston kit $34.01 USD (65.5mm)
1 x SKRA30 Stroker Pin $31.13 USD (3mm)
1 x BSTRA1 Bearing $11.12 USD

used the stock rod, and now I have 185cc!
