Nah...they just know KTM riders are better then Yamadog riders, so they keep us better by keeping us on the track/trail with our "no accessory needed" bikes instead of in the garage (Which is where Yamadogs should be) putting our bikes back together with tricker stuff. They do that for us....can you say... "almost factory" ??

I am in the position of buying a bike soon. I know for sure I want a 4 stroke.

The YZ426 retails $5999.00 the KTM 400SX retails $6448.00 and the Honda CR450F is in the range of the KTM I think.

The Cannondale is $7999.00. Why I don't know!It is out of the question for me.

The 400 or 500 dollars is not the deciding factor. All the bikes have pluses and minuses. I really would like a chance to ride them. I am sure one of them would fit my style and riding level best and that's the one I should buy. What ever happened to demo bikes. I would gladly pay a fee to cover insurance and such. It seems to me a dealer could get alot of return on a well thought out demo program.

The fit and finish of the KTM is impressive.

I am trying not to let the post regarding cracked fuel tanks and blown up engines influence my decision. It is scary to read "I will never buy a Yahmaha again". All of these bikes come with no warranty to speak of. We are at the mercy of the dealer and manufacturer to do the right thing. It has to be a factor.
