Dam 604s think youre so special, you should hear what us 250s say about the red platers. Lolz jk I was born n raised 604.

I was born in 604 own property in 250 and now work in "red plater country" funny thing is most "red platers" that visit BC are from BC so be nice to us until we give you reason not to be... then ya I agree call the guy a douch!   I rode my first dirtbike beside the vancouver airport... lots of city kids burning off energy out there instead of breaking into cars... i guess no one cares about the youth anymore and what they're suppose to do for fun...after a hard day of riding I didn't see any of those kids hanging out after dark... too busy delivering papers in the am to pay for their bike (when kids still delivered the province paper)...  no parent who doesn't ride is going to bring their kid 4 hours away so they can ride... to bad... Im gonna go sign the damb petition... shit anyone remember the wooded park on Kerr Street by Marine drive in Vancouver?  I think its called Crawly Park?... old dump... dirt bikes made the trails... now its closed so someone can walk their dog off leash...I can't be certin but I am sure the trials at Vedder Mtn were all carved out by bikes... first time I was there was 1985 always saw bikes, no peddle bikes or hikers by 1992 I had hiker telling me which trails were "theirs" so I passed them slowly... lol... &%$#@!... same thing if anyone ever rode in Coquitlam up into Bunzen lake...  weather we like eachother or not if we  don't get together we will loose more n more... join your local riding clud!  Wanna know why the public hates us so much... go out slave lake mud fluts on a sunny weekend... I hate to say it but always some punks out there making things bad for everybody!!!  If thats you!!! Guys try not to scare the visitors... its NOT working!!!!!

we have to start doing are own PR... when out in these riding areas if a group of partiers who happen to have a dirt bike show up and scare everyone off... or pisses them off... help the other campers out... maybe even clean up after them when they leave.. talk to them try to make them understand their making life hard for the rest of us... ride in large family groups try to keep these areas open and friendly for everyone... i know its a long shot... but nothing i hate worse is seeing a forestry rec site littered, burned, chopped up ect... cause some stupid drunks don't give a shit about anyone else... I hate to say this... but maybe even call the cops, CO's or anyone else who may care... LACK of RESPECT is killing our sport... yes and cost too!  And for god sakes if you see that local farmer stop and say thanks!  Don't shot by his horse at 100 mph and don't go blasting down and paved road doing wheelis... little things like that go a long ways...

Ive fished herrling island never rode... didn't know it was closed... too bad.. funny how just down stream their is a gravel company digging up the river???? besides I didn't think the government gave a shit about rivers and fish anymore... we have fish farms!!

If anyone knows of riding areas being closed please PM me if you don't wanna go public I'd be interested to know where...

That's a good universal phrase.  I'm just teasin... thinkin about getting acouple red plates of my own.

There is something behind that whole slow down to pass idea.  I was on a fsr through a ranch the other day and acouple horse riders actually smiled and waved as I passed.  That was suprising, I guess they appreciated me slowing down.  Doesn't work with everyone though, years ago I used to have a niehbor who would always smile and wave at my parents as they drove by at 60km/hr.  Once I got my license he would come running to the road waving fist and swearing at me to slow down despite the fact that I was going the same speed my parents had.  Even when I went by at 40km/hr just to prove how dellusional he was, he'd still come running out yelling and cursing.  Funny thing is all that did was increase my desire to drive like a jackass.
