Given the opportunity & not buying the new house i'd go for the BMW & lots of uprated bits on it.

But then I quite like the Aprilia RSV4, but it's too small for my frame.

Guess i'll just stick with my R1 & Exup1000 that I already have & enjoy the KTM enduro & XR400SM as well

I just bought a 2012 KTM RC8-R over the BMW S1000R  .... glad I did too.

I love my s1000rr...
too bad I just dumped it into the side of a car... it's amazingly less damaged than I thought it would be.

aprilia rsv4, 12 zx10r, ebr1190rs,05-08 gsxr1000. not a fan of crossplane engines that are all hype stock, and the honda has never really interested me. the bmw, idk. some days i love it, other days i loath it.

if i ever upgrade from my gsxr750 , realistically price wise id stay with the top 4, personally the new honda would be my choice, i cant see myself ever riding a liter bike on the streets though

Since I do not live on a racetrack, I would get another 1999-2003 CBR1100XX Super Blackbird because it is WAY more rounded than any of those listed.

And since it costs 1/3 the price, I could buy another dirt bike to add to the collection too.

S1000rr if I was buying it, and RSV4 factory if I had my choice and price wasn't an option. At least those are my choices of "liter" bikes and of the well known brands.

It would be between the CBR and the ZX for me. The BMW is way too expensive, and the R1 is a fat pig.
