Thanks for the compliments! I tend to hang on to my bikes and vehicles longer than most but I take very good care of my stuff and it usually pays off. I bought the '02 new and decided to keep it even after I picked up the '07 which I bought used last year. It's hard to believe that my truck is a '95 and will be 17 years old:eek:
Oh, and the tank on the 426 is the Clarke 3.3 gal. with the YZ seat. :smirk:

Finally got another bike!!!! Haven't had one since I got rid of my XR100 when I was 16. its a 2000, pretty much stock. not sure about the muffler. takes 3-4 kicks to start. runs good except for pretty bad bog but I'll get that sorted today probably. got home with it at about 9pm last night. $1500. awesome!

not sure about the muffler.

It's stock with the pea shooter removed. Same design was used through 03 or 04.

Cosmetically I just need a front fender and graphics. Tomorrow I've gotta find out why the accelerator pump isn't spraying and unclog the reserve side of the fuel petcock. If I get both of those done gonna probably do the grey wire, and try and check valve clearance friday then hit the trails Saturday!

Paid $700 for a '01 YZ426f a month ago and put about another $300 in it. Now I love it.

I have a2000 wr 400 love it I wouldlike to find a rear fender with light used if Ic
an.

You should upgrade to a YZ rear fender and LED tail/brakelight like I did .... see 'what did you do to your WR today page 135' for pictures, prices and part numbers ......
So much better than stock (imho) and brand new too :smirk: Probably costs less than a used stock version :bonk:
