You guys are making me jealous. Wish I bought a wr450f instead of my yz450f... thought I'd be on the MX track more than trails, I just love the trails too much!

:smirk: :smirk: :smirk: I thought you were going to say Poughkeepsie or something!!! If your interested in racing, there's a winter series down near Binghamton. 30 minutes of racing thru the tree's per class. It's a darn good time!!!

I've never raced before, hell I haven't ridden in two years! I'm in the process right now of slowly getting my bike back to what it used to be.

Where abouts in the Binghamton area? My gf lives in Binghamton, I am down there about every other weekend. Do you have a website I can visit? While you're at it, PM me, I have a few questions hopefully you could answer for me since I moved from Texas to here with my bike (I'm originally from ROC though).

www.squaredealriders.com

Beldin Hill area, just east of Binghamton. They have a race this weekend, and then only one more left Feb 24th
Then for the summer, I highly recommend the WNYOA series (Western New York Off-road Association). You'll get to meet tons of fellow riders, and get the chance to ride at areas you normally can't ride at.

Quick kinda on/off topic for those who dual sport their WRs, what headlights work best? Mine being a 99 I really love the look of the newer headlights but not sure if it will bolt up or be much of an upgrade.

The new light looks better, but would definitely not be an output upgrade...you will need something more if you plan on actually riding at night.

Gotcha, is it a direct bolt up? Also any recommendation on a better light? Bikes plated and will see some night riding, thanks again!

I removed the light from the rear fender via the screws and then unplugged it. The front, I just took off everything. The light the speedo cable the computer. I then had to make a front number plate holder out of a piece if scrap metal to bolt to the underneath of the top triple clamp. It was where the computer bracket bolted on. Then I drilled a hole in it to bolt the front plate to. Hope that helps.
