Hi, new here and I have a age old question. First a bit of details for you, I'm swapping my wr426 motor out with a yz426 motor. The best info I have on the stator swap (to support the street legal lighting) is from Baka designe. They say swap the stator and cdi from the wr into the Yz and I'm good. My question is will the wr cdi in the Yz affect performance in any way? Please help, I know this has been beat to death but all the info is in pieces or contrary to the next. Thanks

You don't need the WR CDI. Consider looking in the Common Threads Sticky once in a while:
