I am shimming my valves right now and my brothers lost my honda manual!!:ride:

if I remember correctly, the intake valves are .13-.17mm and the exhaust valves are .25-.30mm?

I am not too sure of the torque specs of the cam holder.. could someone please provide me with that info for a 2005 crf450r?

thanks!

Intakes are 0.13-0.19mm, exhausts are 0.25-0.31mm and cam holder bolt torques are 10ft-lb.

and the decompressor is .35mm right?

I believe most manuals say .28...but that number doesnt work for me. other manuals say .35mm on the decompressor and it works perfectly for me. just would like to double check. I am only 95% sure on those numbers though.

thanks again.

I believe my clymer manual said .28mm then. but .35 was the actual clearance that worked. weird. thanks a lot.

intakes are .007" and exhausts are .011" , i always run cam cap at 135 in/lbs, be sure to pour oil all over everything before starting.
