Hey all I was riding my 99' Ninja home tonight and didn't get too far.  The oil light had come on earlier in the day but only for a second when the idle fell too low (I needed to adjs. my valves). I wasn't worried, I had had it come on before, and I had added oil and it would still come on at various times with no problems.  Soo. I'm going about 80mph down this hill at around 11k or so then all of a sudden it feels like I'm out of gas.
I flip my petcock but nothing happens. It is getting worse, i'm slowing down a lot more and a feel like my chain is tightening up on me! I was ready to bail I had no idea what was happening. Then it is apparent she's not going any further and i quickly slow to a holt on the side of the road.  I'm worried this might be the end of her.
A few things to note, as I pulled in the clutch it would role fine.
Secondly smoke was coming out of a nook directly to the left of the clutch/transmission box on the right side of the bike.
I couldn't get it to turn over after it had stopped as if to push start it.
I wanted to see if I could turn over the engine with the starter so i turned it on and hit the button but immediately the signal flasher, low oil light and high beam light flipped off and would not ever come back on again.

I don't have very good feelings about this folks, seized piston? seized valves? electrical problem? What do you think it is worth to sell in non working condition, the fairings are in pretty bad cond. and there is no visor.
Thanks in advance!
Matt
