Im debating wether to rebuild my 07 wr motor that has some major problems or to just buy someones' 06 motor instead. Does anyone know for sure if the 06 motor will bolt into the 07 aluminum frame? And could anyone tell me why I should or shouldn't do that, is the 07' motor better, different? thanks!

I don't think so. 06 has an external oil tank in the frame and the 07 - 11 models have it integrated into the motor.

The 07+ motor has additional lube passages that are supposed to help with long term durability, specifically under the piston/wrist pin area.
