Very interesting information here.

Obvious improvement in bike's bark... I do not see anything about top speed increase after mods. Anybody have any numbers for top speed after Eddie works his magic?

I do have the Big Bore kit but pretty much everything else.  I notice 6-8 mph in my top end from when it was completely stock.  I think most of that came with my last mod which was a Yoshimura RS-3 exhaust.  I'd bet the MRD would have similar or better results.  As a side having the silencer in my exhaust takes away from my top end.  I don't know if its jetting or just the cork.  I'm guessing both but mostly the cork.
Fragmasterkarl has so many mods he might not remember when his bike was stock.  I recommend his website.

The SSW/MRD flows gases better..allowing your engine to continue producing HP, approx. 1,000rpm after the RS-3 or most other pipes would have signed off..

It's not too complicated from here....This ability to pull a higher rpm will give you more top speed...

+1

I have the same mods that are in Eddies 48/50 package.
Stock i remember seeing 162 km/h indicated (100mph) (flat on tank)
With the package i saw 174km/h (108 mph) (sitting upright)
i have stock SM gearing.
S gearing is about the same due to larger wheels/smaller sprocket.

So stock it does not have the power to rev it up to max rpm. (10.000 on S/SM)
With the package it does go to max rpm. (i have a tach too, it hits the rev limiter)

The speedo exaggerates though. (7% or so in my case)
The theoretical top speed at 10.000 rpm, 5th gear, stock SM gearing is 163 km/h IIRC

If you would change to taller gearing (like 2 teeth less rear) stock you would probably get less top speed as the engine cannot pull it.
With the 48/50 pack you probably would pull it and raise the top speed. (a few extra mph's)

i'd be shocked if there was a difference of 15mph top speed for 50% hp improvement. the dizzer is a brick with a small sail in the air.

Power increases with the cube of the velocity...

1.5 ^ (1/3) = 1.147

Theoretically, you'd see a 15% increase in top speed.

You are not helping, I just want to clarify if the mrd pipe is included or not. I don't need a repost. I obviously need more info than the first post has to offer. What is required for 50hp does not tell me what is INCLUDED for the price.

Not trying to be rude, just tired. I've been unable to get them on the phone for two days now. Mainly it's a time zone conflict I think.

I don't think you'll see a 15 mph difference either but I think the big difference in speed comes with the hp at the top of the rpm curve.  Stock hp close to 10000 rpm's is about 20 to 25, with these mods it's close to 50.
A point of clarification.  The dizzer is a small brick.

I also believe that stock is 33-35 and this gets used 48-50

Oh I can see how included on the list Mrd SSw and to get 50hp you get mrd SSw in package can be a little confusing.  I mean they are two very different statements

Used this kit, went from 36 to 45hp. The jetting is rich, but may be able to pump out a few more HP getting it tuned nicely.

Just giving everyone a realistic HP gain.

Some head flowing would also help....

Maybe Eddie could add this to the package list, but it is very time consuming and would blow out the package deal price ...
