2003 klx110 wont stay idle.

I just bought a used 2003 klx110. Its in nice shape. It starts fine but when u start going u have to be on the gas. If u slow down u have to still be on it or it will putt putt and then die. I havnt looked at cardb yet. so was thinking its  got to be carb. any other ideas. or anybody experiance the same problem. thANKS

it does this regardless of if you raise the idle? Pilot jet is most likely clogged. Take it out, clean it with carb cleaner AND a wire to get the gunk out.

Cleaned carb out runs alot better. I noticed that the hose that goes to the air filter to carb was not in all way.:smashpc:
