400F VS. 250

IS THE 400F EASIER TO RIDE THAN A 250 2 STROKE? BY HANDLING AND POWER. IN THE DESSERT AND DUNES WICH IS BETTER?

To answer the first part of your question, in my opinion, it depends on the rider. There is NO way that you can define one particular bike for the masses. As far the second part, I haven't a clue.

I totaly agree with Boit. I will add this. A 4 stroke has a much browder power band than a 2 stroke and tons more torque.

This means you can put a 4 stroke around much easier. It also means you do not have to keep in on the pipe like a 2 stroke.

On the other hand, 4 strokes do weight more than 2 stroke.

Most people that switch from 2 stroke to 4 stroke a glad they did after the adjustment time is over. I love mine and will never mix oil and gas again and before you think it, I have a 4 stroke weed wacker.

I far as sand dunes. I rode a lot of dunes when I was a kid on my RM125. Just thinking about it, I think the YZ426 would do a much better job.

I ride alot of dunes, and I have owned and ridden a bunch of 250's as well as my 426. I wouldn't touch a 250 on the dunes if I had the choice. With a padddle and with tons of torque and low end power, its a dream to jump and ride in the dunes. Its like it was made for the dunes. I don't feel like I even work my bike like I did my 250's in the sand.
