Bad CDI ??

Anyone ever had a CDI or ignition coil go bad, if so what were the symptoms?

Nevermind, I found the problem. The wiring going to the cdi had somehow ended up against my pipe. Dont know how because Ive never touched it but it had melted the insulation around the wires.

a bad cdi will cause your bike to run exstreamly hot or very rough. It will also foul plugs alot.
