Fork and shock difference from '03 to "04

I'm sure the info is here but I can't find it for these 2 years. I'm trying to sell my '04 FC suspension to a guy building an '03. Will suspension fit? I have stock triple clamps also if they are needed. Thanks!

The triple clamps will be needed, but if they are used, the fork will bolt right up. The '03 and earlier fork was a 46mm open bath (single chamber) cartridge fork. The '04 was the same design but was a 48mm (thus the need to use the '04 clamps), and is a significant improvement over the 46's. The complete '04 fork is a hassle-free drop on to the '03.

The rear shock will also bolt up directly, and apart from whatever work you had done to yours, the '04 had some minor internal upgrades over the earlier versions.

Thanks, thats what I was hoping to hear! Maybe these things will finally get some use. Dumped a pile of money in them and bought a 2010 instead ?
