Im at a 110 main. when I give it gas it falls on its face and sputters. Is that lean or rich?

Stock carb, yx race head, dmc pipe and pod filter. All it had done before was the pipe. And there was a 90 main in it.

try a 100-105 main with a 42 pilot. Fuel screw 1.5 turns out. That carb is choking that motor though. See how that works. One way to tell is pull the choke and see how it reacts to throttle. If it cleans up then you need to richen the jetting.

I put the 100 in there and seems really good except for the bottom. There is a 38 pilot in it , im going to grab a 42 to see how that works. Thanks again for the help, ill let you know how it turns out.

the 42 should get you damn close. Use the fuel screw to get any fine tuning done. Just make sure you test it under load and fully warmed up.

I put the 42 in and it still bogs and wants to die off idel. Im at 4500 feet does that makes a differance?

what does your plug look like. Try pulling in the choke and see if it revs cleaner.

Plug looks good. Runs like Shit with the choke pulled out. It runs a little better with the air screw backed all the way out.

hmmm, usually if you pull the choke and it cleans up a bit you need a larger pilot.

seems like you are a bit rich if you are turning it out and its cleaning up. So the plug is brown or black? You may possibly need a 40 pilot but its so hard to tell. From what I can gether you are rich on the bottom.

Plug is black. Ok so I will try a 40 pilot. Should I jet the main down some?

make sure to set the air screw back to its starting point. 1.5 turns out
