I rode one last week at the Husaberg Force Ride in Gunnison Colorado. Here is a not-so-good pic of the bike. I'll try and find a better one. They are white with yellow frames. Nice bike.

They are also blue on the website too. :smashpc: Maybe the white was an option.

Hyde Racing sells a very nice exhaust wrap for the TE300, consisting of two parts which protect the exhaust extremely good. I heard Dougie from Redbull Romaniacs say he had the  first prototype on it and that it was very good.

The rear plastic is black as are the airbox sides, tank shrouds, front fender and number plate are blue, and frame are yellow with blue wheels. the factory sticker lit does a good job of hideing the color.

How about the Husaberg light kit off a FE, too expensive?

Was in Minneapolis this past week for the NOHVAC (National Off Highway Vehicle Annual Conference) and on the ride day I snagged the Husaberg 390 FE, 450 FE and the TE 300.

All I can say is that this is the first KTM I have liked out of the box.  I am speaking of the TE 300.  It handled great and was very light feeling.

The trails were stellar and you could feel like a hero on a Honda 230 but even still I will be seriously considering the TE 300 for my next bike.

I am/have been a die hard 250 MX 2 stroke guy (current ride is a 2009 YZ 250) and only ride tough single track and this bike really made me re-think things.

Partly because I am in pooer shape and pushing the 42 years of abuse on my body, I have been fighting the YZ this year.  If I am going to make a change next season this bike will be in the running.

Oh, I'm not wanting to highjack the thread but have to comment on the people that I met at this conference.  I am from British Columbia Canada and I felt so welcomed by all of the people from all over the US.  4 wheelers and 2 alike.  What a great bunch of people that are keeping your riding areas open, developing trails etc.  The overall experience was very positive.

We rode in the Nemadji state forest, lead by Mike Pohl of the Straight Arrows Enduro Riders.  Groovy fast single track (30 miles or so?)  Mike was stellar.  :smashpc:

You guys from Canada were a very fine bunch to ride with!  Love the fact that everyone was chomping at the bit to ride. We made the most of the day.  I, too, thoroughly enjoyed myself. There just is nothing better than riding great trails, with a great group of guys who can ride like the wind.

Sorry to hear that, I heard a story about a guy who sold all his stuff to his mates for like $20 each, got receipts and everything, and then bought it back off them after the divorce and been settled.

Hey Mike.

Thanks for the tour.

Couple of the guys got to your shop for the flight simmulator and said it was great.  I never made it.  Maybe next time.

Now when you come up to BC you look me up and we'll ride!

I'm just about ready to drop the hammer on a 12 te 300 but was a little concerned about parts availabilty, i was told it's just a blue ktm is that true?

Apart from the forks that was true. I believe the forks are sold with a different type of KTM nowadays, but don't know which model anymore.

It's mainly a blue KTM with some Husaberg specific parts.  It is a hybrid of the '11 XC and XC-W 2 stroke lines.  Parts availibility should not be a problem.

TE125 got me excited, but then I found out it's not coming to US and Canada. I might go TE250.:smashpc:
