you should check out busco but i think you will like cape fear better, there is some cool trails at busco but more tight twistys, hs stuff at cape fear. Beware of the killer king quads at busco also.

the trails are pretty fun at busco but not very narrow. They are pretty sketchy because they aren't one way. The trails are a lot tighter at cape fear. Its fun to go to though. I mainly just go to play on the side track and get used to jumps and then hit the big track when there is no one out there :ride:. I really like going to cape fear but I hate all the sand out there.

how big are the jumps on the tracks? I ride tracks like Durhamtown had, but I wont get on a track with clear or crash doubles

the track at devils ridge was great, but the trails sucked bad, hard as rock atv stuff, not fun at all

I think I'll head down to Midway Sunday, too. I'll be in a black Excursion with a Husky on a hitch hauler.

busco beach is the most unsafe place I've ever rode in 30+ years of riding

the trails are beyond dangerous, 2 way with hundreds of criss crossing blind intersections, basically no rules, lots of beer cans litter the trails, and the place is very very crowded, the combination of lots of people, and a free for all make it unsafe.

the trails take about 15 minutes to do at a good pace, not very much at all, basically around half the property there's a treeline against the river, that's it, you could drive a semi down most of them, if it were not for the mud holes. There was some tight trail but it is extremely dangerous, low hanging branches and blind corners, I caught a tree limb in the head, thank god for good googles

the tracks are suited for atv's not bikes, there were no lines or ruts to take, just big banked hardpack turns

if you like going slow on an atv, then that place is probably great

That's exactly how i feel about busco. I've only been riding offroad for year or so but even i know that place is nuts. I don't think i'll ever go back if i can help it. Rode midway today and had a good time even though that place can get old pretty fast. They really need to cut some new trails there.

we are going to ride midway next weekend if the weather is nice and my wife does not object

you can make a pretty long loop, there's some nice tight trails in the center of the property and more on the far east end

I'm a little worried about meeting an atv in that tight stuff there too, the trails we were riding locally are off limits now due to hunting season

We rode at "outback" today, had a lot of fun, I think it's our new favorite place to go, it does have a lot of criss crossing trails, if it was arrowed and ribboned you could get a few really long loops out of the place

Mega,
Been thinking about going to outback for a while but haven't had the chance. How does it compare to cape fear? Any single track or hills? Is it mostly loose sand? Thanks for any input.
