Yamaha's are best suited for mud races and high speed desert races for some reason. They always seem to do well in nasty rutted deep mud conditions. I dont know if it is the steering geometry, suspension or the engine power delivery that gives them an advantage. Or it could just be the riders but it seem to me Yamaha has better results in these conditions.
