So we've all but handed over the check for a near immaculate 05 WR450. The owner had it duals sported, which isn't bad, but the signals will be taken off and the DOT tires need replacing.

Only problem is the ignition button broke (cheap fix) and there's a lean surge just off idle. Other than that, the bike is clean as a whistle and runs like a champ.

So anyone have problems with an off idle lean surge? We're at about 6000 feet, and don't know if the jets have been changed. How have you fixed it? Just bigger pilot jet?

Thanks!

(They also have a sweet Pace Explorer RT that we want. They're getting out of bikes and we could get that too! hahaha)

Un plug the TPS gray plug. Known issue.

I've been reading a bit on that and it seems to get mixed reviews on working or not, but we'll give it a shot when we pick it up today. I'll report back the results.

Thanks!
