pilot screw on xr650L

Anyone know if the pilot screw on the carb meters air or gas on a 650L. Rebuilt my carb and idle-low end sucks. All stock for now, just need to get it running right until Chrismas, then uncorking.

Stevo, check my post in the jetting section. You might try the search option also. I used that and found some real good info on jetting. Here are some starters.
