06 wr 450 throttle stop

Just got a new non current wr 450 . Can any one tell me how to take the throttle stop out ? The dealer said it would be a liability for them to do it .

+1... also, 2 seconds of searching would have turned up 100s of threads on this topic.

But to add to the discussion, don't just remove it. CUT IT to the proper size then PUT IT BACK IN! If the stop is not installed and the way it is possible for the throttle slide to open too far and the linkage is built it can get stuck. I have purchased two used WRs that had the stop missing and was shocked to see this actually happen. I put the YZ stop in both of those bikes without delay.
