just watched the HRCA promo video of new 04 hondas and
they just claimed dry weight to be 205lbs.

I think I saw in two different places from Magazines etc....207 or 206....
so....I think honda has the weight fairly low....of course no one rides dry....
2 gallon tank = 16 pounds
Coolant = 2+ pounds = 18
engine oil and fork oil...3.5 or so there....so what...
we are sitting around 226 ready to line up....
Not bad....but then trusting what the factories write for dry weight is like being told that you wont have to pay taxes this year....

It will be light....

Suzuki/ Kaw. claims 205 lbs for their 250 four stroke. I was out at the track this wekend where MXA was testing it. (the Suzuki) They weighed it in at 216 lbs with coolant and oil but no gas. I'm sure the Honda will be in the same ballpark.
