Son has a 2005 klx110 and I have a question about this before I tear into it. What will cause the bike to just jump as soon as you put it in gear. It will die if you don't hurry on the gas and when coming to a stop if you just stop it will keep pulling and then die once you apply enough brakes to stop it, but if hurry it back into neutral it will stay running. Its like the clutch is not disengaging. What is the easiest fix if any has had the same problem?

try adjusting the clutch. Its the bolt thats on the clutch cover. It may possibly be too tight and keeping the clutch from disengaging.

hummm, I didn't know there was an adjustment bolt on it. I have never had to mess with it since the day I got it. Thanks I will look at it and let you know what I find.

ok I adjusted the screw out all the way out and the kick starter wouldn't catch so I adjusted it in just until it started catching and still it jumps as soon as you stick it in gear. I guess I need to pull the side cover off now???

they will always jump a bit ecspecially if there are hd clutch springs in the bike. Its fine, ride it.

No you don't understand it won't sit and idle in gear at all, it has to go going or it will die, like taking a regular bike and just stick it in gear without pulling in the clutch lever you can't do that or it will just die. If you give gas right as you stick it in gear and take off then you can get it going but when you come to a stop if you don't hurry up and stick it neutral it will just keep pulling. The clutches are not slipping at all. This bike has not always done this it just started doing after his last ride he did drop it on some pretty gnarly hills.

jsut dont understand how dropping it would cause the clutch pack to not disengage at idle....the only option you have is to pop of the clutch cover, get the clutch off and take a look at it. Never heard of anything like what your experiencing before with the 110's

ok finally got around to taking cover off after trying to adjust the side cover bolt/nut. So I took the cover off and don't really see any issues but got some pics maybe you guys will see something I am missing.

This little piece was laying in the bottom but it doesn't seem to attach to anything so it most likely fell down when pulling the cover off.
