Time to do the top end on my 2005 WR 450, I was wondering which kit to buy or which kit to stay away from. Thanks

Curious how many miles you have on it for it to need a top end?

Lots, I bought it in 04 and ride once a week. On average I do a 80 miles each ride.

She still runs strong. I'm doing it as a precaution . My compression was a little low but still in spec.

I've used the JE piston kit in my WR twice now. Really happy with the quality.
JE pistons are supposed to be made in the Wiseco factory, same piston, but cheaper. $150 for the kit.
Then go OEM gaskets and timing chain.
