hard start 426

well over the winter i have new valves put in and added the new exhaust cam. i had the carb rejetted also. so when i start it in the am for a ride it is a pain. this last time i had to take the air cleaner off and spray carb cleaner in to get it running. once it warmed up it runs great. any thing to look for?
