I'll be riding AF Canyon tonight if anyone wants to tag along.  It'll be a slow, technical ride.

'12 KTM 300xc (or my old YZ426)
Wellsville, Utah (Cache Valley, near Logan)
Intermediate to Expert (depending on the day....or the night before... :) )
Mountain singletrack. Favorite is the Highline Trail (runs along the ridge of the Logan mtns) or Moab. Anything Moab. Cherry Creek or the Swell is also a fave place. Haven't been to American Fork yet, my riding buddies and I have plans to hit it real soon!
Anything but tracks! Tracks bore the hell out of me!

Logan, UT, intermediate, all the places Dr. Thumper said, Mountain View, WY, Tracks scare the hell outta me.
Right now riding an 09 YZF450 but hope to be on a Katoom 250 or 300 XC at some point.
I also reared an 18 yr old that rides and makes me look like a fool and a 14 yr old thats getting pretty darn good, herself.
I really like to get out and do some riding and camping, Let me know

I want to get a ride in on Sunday but I'm not really sure where I want to go. I'll be with a beginner/intermediate rider who doesn't like anything too technical so tight twisties are out of the question.

Subby, I was just riding Mountain View, WY last weekend and am from the Logan area as well (technically Nibley). It's a small world!

Dr. Thumper, How technical and long is the highline trail? I've heard about it but never had a chance to ride it before.

guys hows it goin? I live out in south jordan. Ride mostly mx but do the occasional desert race when I don't got an mx race. I'm a novice desert rider and slow junior/fast beginner mx rider. First year really riding for me so learning a lot every time I go out. If any of you ride track let me know I'm usually by myself when Im not out with my trainer. I ride a 08 YZ450f. I love this bike.
Hey Ryder. As for me well I live in Sandy and ride the MX track located in Tooele, on my 07 KX450F. I've ridden for a few years now. I'm considering riding at the state run OHV park out by the Airport. The only thing is my dirt bike is not registered, this being so because I just moved here to Utah from Nevada. OHV's are not required to be registered in Nevada, but that is about to change. A law was passed for OHV registration but it was only to be implemented upon the government raising dollars to run the program. The state has no funding for the program so this means it's not law that can be implemented untill the come up with the start up dough $$$. Anyway I will be registering my bike soon...and my car...and my truck.
I like single trail riding also but do not know the area. Oh and I have goofed off out by Fairfleld on BLM land. Fairfield being just outside of Lehi. Send me a PM if you want to ride sometime.

Pimp,

Mountain View is great cause it offers a few different kinds of terrain and is a little cooler when it's broiling here. Love it!. As for the highline, if you start in Logan Canyon, it's around 30 to Emigration Canyon between Franklin County and Bear Lake County.  Then, if you continue, it's another 15 to Soda Springs.  I've rode it half a dozen times and it's a blast! One of the funnest I've done. It definitely has places that challenge and not for beginners. There a bunch of great single track around. Have you hit many?  What about Whitewash, Moab, or the Swell?

I'll definitely give it a shot. Mountain View was a bit strange for me, we were riding after a rain storm so the top 4 inches was mud, and the bottom was dry dust.
I've rode moab quite a bit, my riding group used to go down once or twice a year for a couple years. It's awesome riding down there, I absolutely love it!

Been meaning to post up for 2 weeks but I went to Whitewash with my family over UEA and it was absolutely unreal! Weather could not have been nicer and, for UEA weekend, not a whole lot of people.  It was my first ride on my new to me 02 CR250 and I have to say it's a great bike for all of it. Can't wait to get up Temple Fork and Richards Hollow next summer and watch it NOT puke out antifreeze on long, slow, techy sections. My 09 YZF450 would almost empty itself.

Pimp, been riding anywhere during our "fall" season?
