Well I put on my Moose skid plate last night. My observations:

1. It seems to be very well made and it fit good.

2. It uses two of stock mounting points and also 3 frame clamps. Seems to be very strong.

3. It covers the entire bottom frame rails up to the rear crossmember.

4. It has the "ears" that cover the ignition cover and water pump. You can leave the stock water pump guard on if you want.

This plate is made by www.utahsportcycle.com. I called them to confirm this and they said they also make the MSR plate and that they are all identical.

A good skid plate.

I also have this plate (sold under the Utahsportscycle name). Excellent piece of work. Has already defelected many a rock. I bought this after a wayward rock put a small crack in my ignition cover (JB Weld to the rescue!)

Go to http://www.rockymountainatv.com/

Perform a search by Manufacture using Utah as the key word and it will come up. Good price too.
