Ok i have a 70cc chinese atv motor on a schwinn satingray bike frame hooked to a riding mower rearend to create a trike, ive been working on this bike for a awhile and i ahve came far it has brand new piston and rings it has new gaskets great compression, nice spark, gets fuels runs for about 1 to 2 minutes then shuts off like saomething is locking but motor still turns normal almost running outta fuel, its a brand new carb settings are right i think, and it does this alot i havenmt rode it because it won stay running can anyone plz send me in a right direction.

Your Good news is that it does start and run. So it sounds like the fuel supply is not consistent. Check your flow all the way from the fuel tank cap vent hose, through the tank fuel filter, to the petcock, fuel line, and on into the carb. Which means you want to thoroughly clean and check each of these components for any blockage.
Then if needed you should verify your float level is allowing enough fuel in the float bowl to keep it running. Also, put a new plug in it, fresh fuel, air screw should start at 1.5 turns out from lightly seated if so equipped. That is all I can think of right now.

Oh man...just looked and I am replying to a post that is exactly one year old today. I just came into this forum and was on the third page looking for my own issue...looks like this forum is pretty quiet overall.
