Helmet cam vid at bottom of the first thread: Dar to Morogoro

Sorted out the Contour + mic problem by plugging in an external mic and hiding it in the cheek pad of my helmet.

My 3rd ever off-road ride on the XR!

I found that with this beastly XR300R, I just baby it around too much. I baby it as much as possible on road to stretch out the fuel and baby it off-road simply because it wants to loop out my scrawny butt every time I touch the throttle
So I decided I'm gonna sell this bike and get something with a little less spice and a little more miles per gallon haha. Just gotta do some waiting because I want to get top dollar.

first vid with new ContourHD 1080 camera. We road Pine Valley and Corral Canyon in SoCal high desert for the first time, excellent riding there.
Strapped the camera to my 17 year old kid on his XR440 for his first ride down this trail/fire road.

My buddy chasing me (on my XR400) on his XR400 in Tanzania.  Starts in the bush and ends up on the beach.  Great day.  Here.

tire chains..

www.tractortirechains.com/cgi-bin/shopper.exe?preadd=action&key=GT5312

this isnt the exact chain I have but is the same size. You have to cut about 10" in length off, but it should work well. They have a 2 link as well, but these are much cheaper

Its been a mild winter here in Wi so far and I found a great time to add more trails, so here some riding from last weekend with temps in the 40's.

A rare treat to the east side of the state for some 60 degree sunny riding! (it was raing and 40 where I live)

Moved the GoPro to an under the visor mount. Much better view than on top of the helmet IMO.
