12 hours on OE unit and I just installed this one today. This should be done ASAP. Got to ride a few hours this afternoon at my riding spot and trail loop, then for about 30 mins on my turn track at home.

I immediately noticed off idle, it was far smoother. The engine vibrated less, and it was a very positive feeling. I had a huge grin on my face about a mile into the loop as I noticed I could run a gear higher and lug it to my hearts content. This is why I wanted a large displacement 4 stroke! Large improvement in chugability for such small dollars. Everything else in regards to drivetrain is OE.

It could be placebo effect but, at both places, I noticed a reasonable traction increase. My riding loop has at this time 10% sand/ 10% hardmud/ 80% hardpack.

Being in my age bracket, and the time of year, the "Wedding Circuit" begins this weekend. So, my riding time will be limited in the coming week, and that makes me feel like this. ??

The Rekluse can and will prevent most episodes of stalling, but the flywheel will add smoothness to the engine's low speed pull at speeds above the point where the Rekluse locks up. They compliment each other very well, and I think you'll notice a difference.

Just keep in mind that this is a tuning tool that can be added for 100 bucks and 20 mins of your time. And if you don't like it, I'm sure it would be an easy sell. Well worth it, Id imagine even with a Rekluse.

I do plan on getting the 9.21oz FWW. I added a FWW to my 06 YZ250F and it helped a lot with the stalling issue, but I didn't have a Rekluse on that bike. I would think the Rekluse adds a little FWW effect since it's a little heavier than the stock set up, but it's not directly on the crank so I'm not sure to what extent, if at all.

It is heavier, but its contribution to rotating inertia is minimal for the following reasons:

1. It turns more then 2.5 times slower than the engine, and rotating inertia increases or decreases exponentially with speed.
   
2. In order for the inertia to help keep the engine turning, the stored energy in the spinning mass has to be delivered back to the crankshaft. The problem here is that when the clutch tries to drive the crank, it has to do so through an "overdrive" gear ratio, which cuts the applied force the crank sees by over 250%.

The reason most people install a fww is to prevent stalling. The Rekluse eliminates that plus added a few advantages.

The flywheel weight smoothes the power at low end. If you want that there are many cheaper ways. Jetting etc.

Jetting will not decrease the tendency for each successive compression stroke to slow the engine at low RPM, nor will a Rekluse clutch at any RPM above its engagement point. A flywheel does. But you're entitled to your opinion.

I first put the GYTR 9 oz. fww on my 07 yz450 late last year and loved what it did for me on the trails. Last month I installed the Rekluse exp 2.0. Wow, the combo is working great. The only issue is that I'm faster and I'm starting to scare myself.

Wanted to follow up after putting another 5 hours on it. Between my turn track behind the house, ramming through the bush, riding my short 15+ min harescramble type loop, this in-expensive tuning part is WORTH IT.

In the past 5 hours I've noticed I'm carrying a bit more corner speed as I am not anxious about feathering the clutch mid-corner. I can now focus more on elbows up, grip with lower body, body position, and accelerating much harder out of the corners. And with more corner speed I am heavier on the brakes.

Long story short, its helped me get faster, made the bike smoother, more traction(placebo effect slightly??) more gear/rpm flexability, and more riding enjoyment.

The interesting part is, when I re-read the above statements, a Rekluse would make it infinity times better! Time to increase the money being set aside for one!

I just got back from a ride on mine after I installed the 9.21 FWW. Made a nice difference.
