Direct-injection 2 stroke

How come ive never seen a direct injection 2 stroke dirtbike.
Is the motor too big for a dirtbike or something? Or do companies just think its not a good idea, because their minds are filled with the twisted ways of 4 strokes?

I read rumors from a magazine ,I think it was Dirt Rider, that Honda was working on one.

....if im not mistaken, TM's 125's are fuel injected. raed an article a year or so ago that it was like their best seller.(will have to double check)
