Hey guys, I am getting my 01 426 up and running again after getting a new crankshaft. when I connected the clutch cable to the engine, I noticed too much play, so I tried to tighten it up. It was getting tighter, but its still not tight enough. I started my bike and it was running fine. But when I shift into first, it stalls. The clutch was fine before the breakdown, but not after? Is this due to a bad cable, or is it something more serious?

Thanks in advance.
