Neutral cover

To the guys that removed the stock cover and installed a aftermarket cover like Zip Tys, did you remove the spring and ball/post or leave it in? Thanks

Removed them and put them in the ziploc baggie with the switch

What advantage is gained by removing the Neutral switch? Isn't it harder to start in Neutral?
