Day 16 - Chain slider, guide and rollers installed. Forks rebuilt and back in their home. Also got the new throttle cables ran, airbox installed, and new engine plugs installed.

I feel like an idiot asking this. I apologize in advance.

I have searched and used the FAQ and after all of that, I can't find the Grey Wire for the Grey Wire mod for the life of me. I even had my chick run over all the wiring looking for it last week.

It's a 2000 WR, can anyone lend a hand on it's exact location?

Not sure if they are the same but my 02 426 it is on the right side of the frame under the tank. Either a 4 or 6 wire connector. Hope this helps.

A long but extremely rewarding day of getting more progress done.

Installed new wheel bearings and seals in front and rear wheels. Also got the front end put together for the most part.

UNI air filter is installed and got a lot of loose ends tidied up. The biggest news for me was to see it back on two wheels. I am BEYOND stoked on the results and project. Hope you enjoy.

Dropped off the seat at Beard Seats today to get recovered.

Also got the kick stand back on, coolant reservoir back in place and also got the radiators on.

Good day of progress before the long weekend!

Waiting on a few more parts and I'm hoping for a completion date of mid July!

Great work so far... I was considering selling mine this fall and buying a newer one next spring, but you've just inspired me to do otherwise.

It's looking great, and your friend would be happy to see it in good hands, being cared for. Good for you!

Thank you got the kind words bud. His father is stoked on the build and we plan on this bikes maiden voyage being a trip to Ocotillo to a memorial we built for Rob up in the mud hills... It seems only fitting...

I do appreciate the kind words! Thanks again!
