Help with auto clutch

Would like an auto clutch fo a yz400f 98 model. Problem is nobody makes one. Can I use 426 parts to make one work.

You should search this a bit, or wait to have someone more familiar with part interchangeability between the two models, but I believe a 426 clutch will fit if the right crankcase cover (the cover, not the crankcase half) and the clutch cover are changed to make room for it. You'd need a 426 basket/gear assembly (use an '01/'02 so you can get "stuff" for it). Are you sure you want to spend ~$800 on this deal for a 400?
