yz450f bottom end

i was just curious with the new yz450f (10-11) is the bottom end the same as any previous models? if not what changed for the new bike?

No, it's not. The transmission and clutch is the same as the '06 and up, but just about everything else, including the crankcases, obviously, is different. The crank is different, and the bore center line is offset forward to reduce thrust loads and allow better power production at high RPM while still keeping the rod short.
