Getting ready to do the first top end on my 04 with almost 300 hours. Valves get checked twice a year and have never had to adjust. Still starts on the 2nd or 3rd kick cold and runs like a champ. Firgured it's time for a new piston, rings, valves, seals, and cam chain. Do you all replace the dampers 1 & 2 with the cam chain? Go blue!!!! .............Thanks in advance:ride:

If you mean the chain guides, no, not unless they need it due to wear, etc.

Thanks, the parts schematic has them listed as dampers 1&2.
