i just got back into the sport after many years. i bought an '06 rev 800. i am being told that one upgrade that is a must is the boss seat. is this true? highrise or??? are they really worth the money? anyone know where i might be abe to buy a used one?

Personally i think boss seats are about the biggest waste of money on a sled.
Spend the money on clutching, gearing, suspension, a good bumper, then various other goodies such as scratchers, handguards, and riding gear.

wow! first bad thing ive heard about them. it seems like an awful lot to spend for a seat in my opinion burt i keep hearing how necessary they are. thanx for the opinion.

I bet many of the opinions on TT snow would say that a seat isn't a good upgrade. Many of us don't spend much time sitting. In all of my years of riding sled, I've never thought a seat hindered my riding. Mule is on the money (as always).
