I learned an easy way to install grips that's fast and effective from a friend that races motocross. Pour a small amount of fuel (NOT PREMIX BUT STRAIGHT GAS ) in the end of the grip, swish it around inside the grip and shake out any excess wait a few seconds and slide the grip into place. The grip becomes tight in seconds. I don't use glue and wire any more. If you only have premix gas there's plenty of riders that wouldn't mind giving you a few drops.
