yz450f cdi and rpm

Is it a good idea to get this cdi if i want more speed out of my machine and more rpms and does it really work or if anyone thinks i should go for an 06 cdi

not sure how procom is on bikes but they are total junk for a raptor 700.....can't see they would be any better for a yz
