I recently took my daughter out for a 120 km and 4 hour long desert dune ride through the UAE desert. It was beautiful with large dunes and wild camels all over the place. We rented Honda 450s and just chased each other around the whole place. It was a blast - really recommended. Try SandStorm Racing in Dubai if you are ever in the UAE.

This was a massive 200-300 meter high dune that my daughter managed to get up in her first run. I had to turn back and give it another go - fully pinned in 4th gear!

Finally, we both made it to the top! Great father and daughter day!

My daughter is normally on the 250R but she really liked the torque of the 450X. It was my first ride as we´ll on that bike - perfect for the dunes!

Here is manda on her way to a fourth place finish in women's long course last Sunday. Missed the podium by 44 seconds in the 1.5 hour race. She did manage to win women's short course in the morning though

It's great to see so many families getting their kids into riding. It's fun to see all the pics and their accomplishments too! Kudos!!

Our friend offered for our daugher (the 11 year old) to ride his KTM 450 EXC around our loop at the in-laws yesterday. Honestly, not only am I in awe of her confidence but am feeling put to shame for my fears that I had when I first learned to ride dirt bikes. Sigh. If only I had been introduced to riding as a child, things might have been so much simpler. Enjoy!

My 13yo (24E) getting the holeshot in her class. She races mini and womens class in our locas HS series. Hoping to run some National Enduros next year.
