i have a 1997 summit 583. the gear on the rotex shaft broke into 4 peaces last year. i pulled it all apart looked at both gears and there was nothing wrong with them so i chacked it up to a old gear. got a new gear and put it on worked great whent for a test ride was all good. the next day i whent and took it out and it was fine stoped for 3 min to go get my gloves from the house came back out got on and then it died never tuched the gas was just idleing. checked the rotex valve and it wont spin pritty shure the gear broke again. any one have a idea of what is causing this.
