Float Bowl Fumble

Well, here's the deal. I dropped my float bowl and broke the brass overflow tube from the bowl. I thought about partially drilling out the old tube from the inside of the bowl, finding a piece of brass tubing the same diameter, pressing it in, and epoxying, etc.
Yamaha does not sell just the float bowl but it looks like http://www.carbparts.com does.
Before I contacted them though I thought I would check and see if anybody else has made this mistake and what they did about it?
Also, to see if anyone had a float bowl for a 99 YZ400F kicking around that they may want to part with?
Thanks in advance-- Jon
