I am running the mapping switch the bike feels more off the bottom end with the switch set to aggresive and the bikes sounds louder for some reason other people have agreed with me on this. I bought the husaberg part as it was £30 instead of the £80 handlebar mounted option part no is 81211910000 the only problem is you fit it under the seat. As for the intake part you have mentioned I havn't heard or seen such a thing what is it? Very interested

Haan-wheels,Talon etc.,etc. There´s many companies out there making hubs in every color of a rainbow. Some good, some worse and some are just plain crap...

I've been holding out on you guys...

Had this bit of info in my file of researched items:

If a lighter clutch pull is needed, consider springs from a 125, which used 5 of these:
50332005000  CLUTCH SPRING 2,3X39,5 125'98 compared to the 350 using 6 of these: 52332005000  CLUTCH SPRING 2,4X40 200'98

I'm not sure they will fit, but it was the nearest, smaller size, I could find in the KTM parts books.

I suspect ith may work, though we'll have to see if it is too little force on the plates, which may mean it might slip. Need to test it!
A friend of mine already did test it (against my advise) but he shouldn´t have. Waisted his money on springs, new plates (since he burned them), new oil  and 1 hour of work in the garage. A 4-stroke , although "only" 350cc puts out waayyyy more torque than an 125 cc 2-stroke. Springs adequate for 125 aren´t stiff enough for a 350.
My guess is 200 SX/EXC uses springs from a 250 SX ???

Someone had to test it...sorry it didn't work for him.
What kind of riding?
Did he test it on an sx or xc?
Did he get a lighter clutch pull at the lever?

Yes of course re the torque, but there are only 5 of these in the 125, 6 in the 350...I still think it was worth a shot. I may try installing just 3 of them.

BTW, the 250sx uses 5 of these: CLUTCH SPRING 2,5X43 8,75T and has had for several years now.

Thank your friend for taking one for the team!

anyone use this air system?  having trouble understanding how it increases performance when it seems smaller than a stock setup.  Looks easy to change though but for 190$ it better do more than sound different

My personal vote goes for either Haan or Talon. Tomato / Tomato situation.Pick the one who´s name is easier to pronounce...

There have been problems with clogged injectors and KTM has reacted with an additional filter in the fuel lines just before the injector. This filter is as fine or even finer than the mesh inside the injector but can be substantially easier cleaned and/or replaced. It goes inside the spout where the fuel line connects to the fuel rail. The spout can be easily removed from the rail with one screw and then the hose clamp is removed; there is a spare clamp provided in the kit. Just push the filter inside the spout. Only problem can be re-mounting the spout as it can be hard to get the o-ring on the spout back into the mounting hole. To be on the safe side I'd recommend getting a spare o-ring which is the same as the one on the injector (#17 on the pic, part#75041023020). Don't put the o-ring into the mounting hole first - it will not seat correctly and leak!

BTW my injector is just fine after 50 hours of use; the mesh was clean.

I just ordered my loudmouth intake setup.  From what I could read online it broadens out the power and the 350 could handle a bit more mid.  Every test I found on it seemed like guys were very impressed.  Then for as easy as it makes doing your filters that's a huge added bonus.  The reason they get more airflow out of a smaller looking filter is the design of the filter is stong enough that it has no back fire screen or cage.  I'm trying it out on my 350sxf then if I love it I will get one for my other full size bikes.  They are also working with outerwear prefilters to get a snap over prefilter setup custom for their filters.  I went with the twin air filters (comes as a no toil unles you upgrade it)  Let you guys knwo what I think once it gets here and I have a chance to try it out.

I ordered a Split Stream fuel filter from Scott at www.crfstuff.com. This should help with filtering out some of the debris in the fuel that seem to be causing trouble with the FI bikes.

I have just had a call back on my ktm 350 here in the uk something about faulty gearbox bearings just thought I'd let everyone on here know about it. Hopefully all will go well and it will be sorted soon. Will keep it updated. Think its back to a 2 stroke again soon.lol

Information on KTMTalk (courtesy to GWR) is that all bikes up to serial# 6000 (AFAIK the last 4 numbers of VIN) are being recalled. Mine is #0445 and I have 60 hours on it now without problems - so it is nice of KTM to "pay" for the installation of a new piston which was due anyway :-))
